"A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination." -Nelson Mandela I had the great pleasure of meeting Maddie when she was probably about 7 or 8 years old. She tagged along with her older sister to an audition of a kid's Musical Review I was directing and she impressed me with her natural spunk and vibrancy. Now, a decade later, stood before me a beautiful, confident young woman and I can't help but think how fast time flies. How is she already a senior?!

"Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life that is yours to lead." -Nora Ephron We had been planning Katie session for months when Corona made us reschedule. I was overjoyed to FINALLY make this session happen and give Katie some beautiful Senior Portraits! We took to the lovely Stephenson Park in Friendswood early on a Monday morning, mixing in traditional senior shots as well artistic portraits showcasing skills as a ballerina.
"Action and reaction, ebb and flow, trial and error, change - this is the rhythm of living. Out of our over-confidence, fear; out of our fear, clearer vision, fresh hope. And out of hope, progress." -Bruce Barton As this moment in time, when the world is filled with so much anxiety and uncertainty, let me put a pause in it all by sharing a bit of Davis' Senior Portrait Session. I have the great pleasure of being Davis' little sister's tap teacher and it made so much sense when I found out he's a drummer. Rhythm most definitely runs in their family!
"Keep your face toward the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you." -Walt Whitman Another Fall semester is here which means I have a brand new class of seniors to photograph. Kicking off (quite literally) my Senior Sessions this year was the beautiful Yuki. We met up on campus at Rice University, one of my favorite place's to shoot, and we instantly clicked. After snapping a few traditional portrait shots, Yuki traded her wedge heels for her beloved pointe shoes.
"It's good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end." -Ernest Hemingway A few months back I met Adam when I photographed him and his friends, Varsity String Quartet. I was excited to photograph his Senior Portraits recently before he heads off to the University of Texas this Fall. I truly love senior sessions... one on one time, getting to know my client, and showcasing their unique self thru my artistic perspective. In the short time I've spent with Adam, he's shown me what a truly remarkable young man and I loved capturing this special moment in time. Wishing him the best as he journeys on to college! Hey 2020 graduates- it's never too early to schedule your Senior Session. I want to get you on my calendar! Click here.
