So excited to share with you Matthew's Senior Portraits. Last year I had the pleasure of photographing his sister Jacqueline as she finished her high school career and now it was Matthew's turn.
This is the 2nd time that I've done a sibling Senior Portrait session. It's so interesting to see the similarities and differences among siblings. Jacqueline is a very talented dancer and very much a girly girl where as Matthew is the outdoorsy, quick witted, and focused type. He's known from a young age that he wanted to join the military so it's no surprise that he will be attending West Point post graduation! His shoot took place at the always beautiful Challenger Park where we focused on his passion for wrestling, cracking some smirks, and of course highlighting his future army career.

Faces: Madison

Madison was an absolute doll of a model. This aspiring little performer booked me for a Headshot session while I was in Texas and we had a lovely time! Despite it being a crazy windy day at Bay Area Park, we powered through and got some great shots of little Madison that showed off all the aspects of her darling personality. Enjoy!

The Promise of Spring

I was incredibly honored when Dontee approached me about taking Maternity photos of her and Orlando as they were anticipating their baby boy, Roan. It was early March, the temperatures were just starting to warm up, and their was plenty of beautiful snow still left in the park.
Dontee has been such an example to me in my life. When I photographed her session, she was in the midst of running tech rehearsals for American in Paris on Broadway, the show she is currently Associate Choreographer for. Their was just something extra special about this session... You could just see their joy beaming out of them. They were comfortable, happy, and content making my job all the more enjoyable. Sweet baby Roan was born earlier this month and I wish Orlando and Dontee every happiness!!

Sunshine On My Shoulders

It's so funny when you've known someone for their whole life (practically) when they hit a milestone like their senior year in High School, it's truly hard to believe that time has passed so fast. Caroline and I's families have been interwoven for so long and it's been a joy watching her grow into the beautiful and confident young woman that she is.
For Caroline's Senior Portrait Session we headed to one of my favorite locations, Pine Gully Park in Seabrook. It was a beautiful day filled with plenty of sunshine. Caroline is a talented classically trained soprano (not a big surprise if you know her family) and I'm so excited to see where life takes her post high school!!
