It's always such a pleasure combing my two loves- photographing and choreography. This summer I had the pleasure of choreographing Home Grown Theatre's production of Godspell. During one of our performances I put down my choreographer notepad and picked up my camera to capture some memorable production stills. It was a pleasure to collaborate with director, Mark Stonebarger, and musical/artistic director Derrick Bready and to get to know and work with this incredibly talented cast made for a very special summer.

"The horizon leans forward, offering you space to place new steps of change." -Maya Angelou This summer I had the opportunity of meeting Jessica, a soon-to-be college graduate from Stephen F. Austin University. From the moment our session began I felt us instantly click! Though we had only JUST met, I knew exactly what Jessica's vibe was and how to capture it through my lens! I so enjoyed exploring 1776 Park in Friendswood, TX for the first time. The location was Jessica's choice as she loved it's untamed, wild nature which certainly translated into the feel of the session. Among some fun artistic portraits, we also captured some professional headshots that she can use as she heads into her career in business! From her many gorgeous hair flips to her love for Topochico (and including it in her images) this session was pure JOY! Congrats Jessica on your upcoming graduation- go show the world what you're made of!
"Every great step in your life begins with a leap of faith, a step into the unknown." -Brian Tracy Rylee and Emilee made for the sweetest little models this summer. Before their family made the move to San Antonio, we got together in Galveston for their adorable sister portrait session. Rylee has developed into a beautiful young dancer and Emilee is following in her footsteps. I loved photographing their beautiful dancing through my lens. Not to mention they left me in giggles the entire time! Hope these images adorn the walls and shelves of their new home and that its not the last time I get to spend time with these fun loving, talented sisters.
"Like seashells we are beautiful and unique, each with a story to tell." -unknown If you wind through my family tree a bit you would find that Lexi and Kylie are slightly related to me- their aunt is my sister! Its been several years since I last saw these sweet girls and I was so excited for our fun Galveston Portrait Session. First we started out underneath Pleasure Pier playing in the waves and sand. Then we made our way into some of my favorite local alleyways, capturing a mix of childhood innocence and some professional headshots they can use in their dance and acting ventures. My favorite part of the session was showing the girls a few pics on the camera, and they would let out uncontrollable giggles of joy! Hope they treasure these photos for many years to come.
