This weekend Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre will be opening their season with a mixed repertoire production, Next Giant Leap. In honor of their kick off performance, I'm excited to share images from their 2019-2020 Season Portrait Session!

"Music is the social act of communication among people, a gesture of friendship, the strongest there is." -Malcolm Arnold I've had the opportunity of knowing Kevin from Day 1. He is always been an extremely gifted violinist who's talents I used during my own wedding ceremony. Kevin is a senior at Clear Lake High School and met friends Christopher, Adam, and Zahi in the school's esteemed orchestra program. They quickly found that their friendship translated into collaboration and they formed the Varsity String Quartet.
I first worked Derrick several years ago in a community theatre production of South Pacific. He served as the show's Music Director and I the choreographer. It was the birth not only of years of artistic collaboration but great friendship. We have talked about taking the conductor headshots for years and I was excited to finally make it happen a couple month's back. Derrick is extremely gifted in all things music and I can't wait to see where life continues to take him. Wishing you lots of success with these new headshots, my friend!
"If light is in your heart, you will find your way home." -Rumi She certainly did find her way home.
If you've been following my work for several years you will surely recognize Nikol. Since we met and performed together in 2011 we've become best friends, collaborators, and clients of one another. I've seen Niki rise from the fires of her life and come out on top, more inspiring then ever. Through her business, ZenRedNYC, she offers her services as a life coach empowering creatives and artists. This past year I had the pleasure of watching Niki find her dream man, Chuck, and I will be celebrating their nuptials in a few months! Each year when we get together for her annual ZenRedNYC shoot, there has always been a theme be it nature, urban, or water. This year's theme was appropriately themed "home." On my latest trip to New York, I took the train out to Brick, NJ where I spent the day with my favorite couple spending some quality time and of course photographing Niki in her new, beloved home. We also explored their backyard marina and a nearby park on the water. I'm so excited and proud for my dear friend and this exciting new chapter of life she's starting. I hope these images serve her well in all her business and personal endeavors! I simply adore my clients. I'm blessed to photograph each and every one of them. Recently I was contacted by Karilyn, owner of For Better or Best, who designs customized wedding stationary. She was in need of some photos for her business' updated website as well as photos with her husband and two puppies. The more Karilyn and I emailed about the vision for her session, the more excited I became to make her vision come to life.
