"Creativity is intelligence having fun." -Albert Einstein Sometimes I just pinch myself- I love what I do! My clients are always so creative and fun. No matter if their photography needs are personal or professional, I love meeting my clients ideas with my vision. My most recent session brought me to the New Jersey shore photographing Michael and Marisa in their home studio!
Michael is the Owner/Creative Director at Asano Designs and Marisa is a Health and Wellness Coach and both were looking for shots of them working in their creative space. They were so wonderful opening their beautiful home to me- their home studio flooded in natural light, color, and creativity! I felt like we instantly clicked and had a total blast as I photographed shots for their businesses. I'm looking forward to their next session this spring including their three adorable children for family portraits!

Kim and Rob were the best of friends while we lived in Jersey and on a recent trip back, my number one priority was meeting their baby girl, May. She is sweet like her mama and spunky like her daddy! I loved snapping some newborn portraits of her as well as some with Mama. Kim is a beautiful mother and I can’t wait to watch Baby May grow! Congrats to you my dear friends! She is PRACTICALLY PERFECT in every way!
"If light is in your heart, you will find your way home." -Rumi She certainly did find her way home.
If you've been following my work for several years you will surely recognize Nikol. Since we met and performed together in 2011 we've become best friends, collaborators, and clients of one another. I've seen Niki rise from the fires of her life and come out on top, more inspiring then ever. Through her business, ZenRedNYC, she offers her services as a life coach empowering creatives and artists. This past year I had the pleasure of watching Niki find her dream man, Chuck, and I will be celebrating their nuptials in a few months! Each year when we get together for her annual ZenRedNYC shoot, there has always been a theme be it nature, urban, or water. This year's theme was appropriately themed "home." On my latest trip to New York, I took the train out to Brick, NJ where I spent the day with my favorite couple spending some quality time and of course photographing Niki in her new, beloved home. We also explored their backyard marina and a nearby park on the water. I'm so excited and proud for my dear friend and this exciting new chapter of life she's starting. I hope these images serve her well in all her business and personal endeavors! I know I'm a little behind with the whole "year in review" thing but I figured as long
as I published this before February 1st I was still good...! In no particular order, here are my top 16 portraits of 2016 and why they were my favorites of the year. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret, all the best people are! -Alice in Wonderland My mom is a very special woman and to show her how special she is, for her birthday last month my sisters and I thew her a surprise birthday party!! The theme was Alice in Wonderland, an absolute favorite of Mom's. Mom is very much like Alice; clever, curious, and imaginative. It was so much fun getting to celebrate my mom with all of her loved ones. It especially wonderful being united with all of my sisters to honor the woman who raised us and taught us all we know.
