Last Fall I photographed some fun Fall and Winter Fashion for Torly Kid. Since then I'm happy to say that my relationship with this adorable Tribeca Kid's Clothing boutique has only grown! During last year's shoot it was a very cool, windy day and I remember the kids and I shivering our way through the shoot. This time around, the sun was out and the and we were ready to play!
The four tween girls I photographed were adorable and so much fun. These best friends were excited to have one last hurrah together before one of them moves away during the Summer. I felt honored to capture their sweet friendship on camera and to create some special photo memories for them. From the 4th of July outfits to the crazy leggings and tanks, the girls were stylin' in the summer wear! Always a pleasure collaborating with Carol Adams, who always does such a great job at knowing exactly what the kids these days will love . Enjoy these fun portraits and get your Torly Kid fashion today!!

Guess what y'all?!?!
I'll be back in Houston for the last two weeks of July and I'd love to photograph YOU!! Email [email protected] for package info and availability. Limited spots available so hurry and reserve your session! "The ultimate treasures on earth and in heaven are our children." Dallin H. Oaks Hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day! Speaking of fathers and families, I'm FINALLY getting around to posting this fun Family Maternity Session I did for my sister, Natalie, and her growing family when I was in Houston last month. Since Natalie is about to pop out Baby Girl #2 it was our last chance to get in some portraits before their family of three becomes four.
I feel very blessed to have these three beautiful humans as my family. I've always loved Natalie but my adoration for her as only grown as I've watched her become a mama. She and Ryan are such fun, caring parents and great examples to me as I prepare to start a family of my own. If Baby Girl #2 is anything like her big sister, Madeline, we're surely in for a treat! Maddie is spunky, incredibly smart, and has her Aunt C wrapped around her finger!! When Nat was pregnant with Maddie, we photographed her maternity portraits at Challenger Park. This time around we found ourselves back at the park so I guess it's become a tradition! Always love photographing in this beautiful and spacious location, especially with my favorite people. Emily is a longtime CCP client. Whether its for her latest singing venture or her wedding day, I just love getting to photograph this fierce lady. She's recently gotten herself a fabulous new hair do so that meant that it was time for new Headshots. I was happy to oblige! We photographed in and around Gantry Park in Long Island City and enjoyed the scenic views of the skyline. Always a blast with Ms. Drennan... make sure to catch her in the Radio City Summer Spectacular if you're in NYC over the Summer!
3 years ago today I married the most kind, loving, and wonderful man. Some of you may have met Josh during your sessions as he often comes along as my assistant. As CCP continues to branch out and photograph weddings, you will most likely see him as the second photographer. His talents and abilities never cease to amaze and impress me.
So just before our 1 year anniversary, my mom told me about this photo idea she had seen online. So the first year of your anniversary you pose with a photo from your wedding day. Then for every year after that you take a photo with the image you had made the previous year. Each year the photos get smaller and smaller! I resisted the idea at first but I remember her saying, "This will be so fun to look back on years from now." I'm so glad I trusted her because I know what she meant now. Our original wedding photo already looks so tiny, even at 3 years of marriage! Since our work schedules are both so crazy we took advantage of our day off yesterday to have a picnic in the park to celebrate. I feel like its so important to make family traditions. Now a days, dates and outings are harder to come by so its even more important to capture these moments to remember and treasure. And with our anniversary tradition, I know at least I will have one great photo of us every year! |
