My oldest sister lives in Arizona with her husband and their five beautiful children. When they were visiting over the holidays I took each of my nieces out for a mini portrait session!
First up was my oldest niece, Avery. Avery is 11 years old and is about to pass me up, which will make her the tallest woman in the family! Not only does she look older but is acting so mature and grown up. Avery and I share a love for musical theatre and I am loving see her passion and skill grow (even had a private tap lesson during her stay!) Avery, don't grow up too fast. xoxo, Aunt C!

Helen's Garden is one of my absolute favorite spots to photograph in the League City area. Even in the winter they keep the garden looking fresh and green, providing my clients beautiful backdrops for their session! Jason, Angela, and their whole family got together here for their family session and we had a total blast. Between the location and this awesome family, plus the perfect overcast skies, this session was lovely from start to finish.
Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You. -Dr. Seuss Sweet Natalie is from my hometown of Houston, TX. She and her family were visiting New York City during the summer and her mom got in contact with me about a surprise Artistic Dance Portrait Session for Natalie! It was a special birthday gift as a memory of their trip to the city. Her mom secretly packed some dance clothes and outfits with her and the night before our shoot they surprised Natalie over dinner. Natalie loves dancing and posing for photos and NYC, so combining all three made for a perfect gift!
It was a beautiful morning in Battery Park. We explored Teardrop Park, the waterfront, and the streets of Tribeca. Natalie's birthday is around the 4th of July so she brought an American flag scarf to use for several of the shots. Photographing tweens is such treat! They are filled with ideas, fearlessness, and so much joy! I loved getting to know Natalie and hope that the memories and portraits from her special Birthday session will bring her so much happiness for a long time to come. Last Fall I photographed some fun Fall and Winter Fashion for Torly Kid. Since then I'm happy to say that my relationship with this adorable Tribeca Kid's Clothing boutique has only grown! During last year's shoot it was a very cool, windy day and I remember the kids and I shivering our way through the shoot. This time around, the sun was out and the and we were ready to play!
The four tween girls I photographed were adorable and so much fun. These best friends were excited to have one last hurrah together before one of them moves away during the Summer. I felt honored to capture their sweet friendship on camera and to create some special photo memories for them. From the 4th of July outfits to the crazy leggings and tanks, the girls were stylin' in the summer wear! Always a pleasure collaborating with Carol Adams, who always does such a great job at knowing exactly what the kids these days will love . Enjoy these fun portraits and get your Torly Kid fashion today!! |
