Isn't George Dvorsky such a handsome man?! I had the privilege of meeting George while performing in Annie at Theatre Under the Stars in March where George played our Daddy Warbucks. George is an incredible performer and a dear friend. I was beyond thrilled when he contacted me about taking some new headshots! For Annie, George shaved off his lovely head of hair and sported the classic Daddy Warbucks baldy look. So now his hair has grown back and has some snazzy facial hair that just begged to be photographed. It's always good when you're auditioning to have multiple headshots with different hair cuts and styles to show who ever's casting. Of course if you ever make a dramatic change in hair color or length, it's time for new headshots and that's when you contact me!! George is currently starring in the Off-Broadway revival of Closer Than Ever, which just extended to November 25th. Saw it last night and I highly suggest you see it. I love having such extraordinary, successful friends!

First blog post! I had the great honor of taking the photos for the fiercely talented Emily Drennan's debut album. The shoot was this last summer, on a very breezy day. Emily had this gorgeous red dress for her first look, short in the front, long in the back, and when the wind picked it up it was stunning! We shot all over Midtown and Central Park. As you can see in the photo to my left, sometimes we'd be standing in the middle of the street, and Emily literally stopped traffic! Her second look was a short black dress that showed her rocker side. Emily found the coolest streets in Astoria that had the most beautiful graffiti art I've ever seen. We finished the shoot off on the west side overlooking the river at sunset! You can purchase her fabulous Two Disc CD by clicking here. If you're in NYC September 30th, you should come to her concert at the Metropolitan Room. You receive a free cd with the cover charge! I've been a fan of Emily's for years so it was an honor to work with her and see my photos on her album! |
