"I see music as fluid architecture." -Joni Mitchell Last year I photographed Caroline's Senior photos and this year it was her younger sister, Camilla's turn to be in front of the camera! I've known these girls for (pretty much) their entire lives and it's crazy to think that they are both transitioning into adulthood now. Camilla has blossomed into a gorgeous young lady. Her confidence and grace SHINES through and I love her sense of style!
Since Camilla is going to be majoring in Architecture in college, she chose the beautiful Rice campus for our Senior Session location. The formal outfit she brought with her is what she wore for Prom this year was my favorite of her looks; she could have easily been mistaken for a Fairy Princess! Between the iconic arch ways, the beautiful oak tree lined pathways, the strikingly gorgeous reflecting pool (my favorite!) and Camilla's infectious enthusiasm not to mention our childhood history together, this quickly became a shoot to remember!

I met Relana in my youth through children's theatre and thanks to Facebook we've reconnected over the last few years. For the last 9 1/2 years she and her husband, Ben, have dedicated themselves to running their theatre school, BATAVA, in League City, Texas. Relana reached out to me before my latest Texas trip about booking me for some Headshots. One thing turned into another, and all of the sudden we had a GROUP Headshot Session Rate with Relana, Ben, and several of their students.
It was a long Saturday of Mini Sessions, but it was well worth it. I loved getting to photograph each and every one of these talented individuals and hope that these Headshots bring them much to success as they continue along their paths in the theatre! Relana and Ben are getting ready for a big change in their lives... they're saying farewell to BATAVA and hello to NYC! I'm thrilled for them as they start this new chapter of their lives and I feel honored that they entrusted me as their Headshot Photographer! **If you are interested in my Group Headshot Rate, please email caitlinbcannon@gmail.com for more information!** "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." -Nelson Mandela Last summer I choreographed United Player's production of Oliver where I met Zayne and his sweet mom. Since then we have kept in touch and I was thrilled when they reached out to me about photographing Alyssa, Zayne's sister, for her Senior Portraits. I was happy to slot get her on my calendar during my latest Texas trip!
Alyssa was a joy to photograph. I'm convinced that she looks like she belongs on the Disney Channel- she just has that pretty princess vibe going on and I LOVE it! Alyssa comes from a family of teachers so it only makes sense that she's looking into a career in education post high school. I know one day she'll make an adorable elementary school teacher. It was a beautiful day at Bay Area Park and I loved the final product of our collaboration. Wishing Alyssa all the best as graduation approaches and hope these photos bring much joy to her and her lovely family for many years to come! While on my most recent trip to Texas I had the great pleasure of meeting and photographing Katherine. Last year I did Headshots for her sweet cousin, Becca, and now it was Katherine's turn. Beautiful eyes seem to run strong in their family!
Katherine is an aspiring actress and I was honored she chose me to photograph her very first Headshots. By look at these photos, you would have never known that she was pretty nervous leading into our session together. I was thoroughly impressed by her calm and collected look in each of her shots. Most people look at the camera, but she looked through it! Katherine- along with performing I highly recommend you pursue modeling. You're a natural. So without further ado, here are Katherine's Headshots. I'm proud of how they turned out and hope they bring her much success in all of her many endeavors! Mother's Day is around the corner and I'm sure you're thinking, "What am I going to buy for Mom?!" I know! How about you give her the gift of photos that she can cherish for years to come! I'm offering a great Mini Portrait Session for Mother's Day that I'd love for you to take advantage of:
