Sweet Natalie is from my hometown of Houston, TX. She and her family were visiting New York City during the summer and her mom got in contact with me about a surprise Artistic Dance Portrait Session for Natalie! It was a special birthday gift as a memory of their trip to the city. Her mom secretly packed some dance clothes and outfits with her and the night before our shoot they surprised Natalie over dinner. Natalie loves dancing and posing for photos and NYC, so combining all three made for a perfect gift! 

It was a beautiful morning in Battery Park. We explored Teardrop Park, the waterfront, and the streets of Tribeca. Natalie's birthday is around the 4th of July so she brought an American flag scarf to use for several of the shots. Photographing tweens is such treat! They are filled with ideas, fearlessness, and so much joy! I loved getting to know Natalie and hope that the memories and portraits from her special Birthday session will bring her so much happiness for a long time to come.
