"Action and reaction, ebb and flow, trial and error, change - this is the rhythm of living. Out of our over-confidence, fear; out of our fear, clearer vision, fresh hope. And out of hope, progress." -Bruce Barton As this moment in time, when the world is filled with so much anxiety and uncertainty, let me put a pause in it all by sharing a bit of Davis' Senior Portrait Session. I have the great pleasure of being Davis' little sister's tap teacher and it made so much sense when I found out he's a drummer. Rhythm most definitely runs in their family!

Happy New Year!! Now that the holidays are over, I'm getting to play catch up before Spring Portrait season kicks into high gear. I've been so anxious to share some of the images I took on Josh and I's recent family trip to Hawaii. It was my first time there in my adult life and it was magical experiencing the beauty of Oahu and Kauai.
Sophie is one of my dance students and I've been photographing her now for three years. Its truly a privilege when families entrust me with capturing their children growing up! I absolutely love my shoots with Sophie, especially when they involve her trusty furry friend, Bear.
I have had the great pleasure of being Katie's dance teacher for the past two years and I have absolutely loved watching her grown in her confidence and ability. She is currently in the application process for many college musical theatre programs I was overjoyed when she reached out to book a headshots session.
"Keep your face toward the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you." -Walt Whitman Another Fall semester is here which means I have a brand new class of seniors to photograph. Kicking off (quite literally) my Senior Sessions this year was the beautiful Yuki. We met up on campus at Rice University, one of my favorite place's to shoot, and we instantly clicked. After snapping a few traditional portrait shots, Yuki traded her wedge heels for her beloved pointe shoes.
