"Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He's gotta pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there's not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see." -It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Taking my two nieces recently to the pumpkin patch was quite a fun way to celebrate the fall season. We went to the same little patch I would visit when I was a little kid and I loved returning their once again with them. We decided to make a little photoshoot out of it since Grandma had bought them the cutest pumpkin dresses! Maddie, the older of the two, is going into a totally cheese ball mode. She loves being in front of the camera just as much I love taking photos of her. After we'd finish one set of images she'd point to a new spot and while running say, "Ok Aunt C, let's go here next," and instantly start posing! What a hoot! And Penelope just followed along perfectly, it was adorable.
I love them so much. They are, hands down, one of the best parts about being in Houston. I love sharing these moments with them. Photography has become such a bond for ALL of my nieces and nephews and I... I'm so glad we can remember these special time's together through photos!
