As the freezing temperatures are starting to bow out (finally) I just knew that I couldn't let my first East Coast winter slip by without photographing dancers in the snow, a photography dream of mine. My dear friend Aaron and his dancing partner, Austin, joined me for a very fun day filled with jumps, lifts, and laughs. Oh, and it was in the 30s that day. I'm so lucky to have such fearless friends! Though I love all different types of photography, it was so wonderful to return to my first love: dance photography! I love the thill of capturing the perfect jump, the elegance in the arms, and the perfect pose to compliment the setting and dancer. I'm looking forward to more Dance Portrait Sessions as the snow melts and the temperatures rise!!
