“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” —C.S. Lewis Several weeks ago I got an email from a Mom I know from the dance school I grew up at asking me what my availability for a senior session was. I replied with package info and dates, and at the end I tagged on "Is Delilah really a Senior, already?" to which she responded, "Oh no, this is for her older brother!" I was relieved to learn that Delilah was a sophomore and that her brother, Solomon, was the one graduating this year! Its was my pleasure getting to know Solomon through the course of his Senior Session. We started off at his house to photograph some artistic cap and gown shots and then proceeded to Helen's Garden/League City Park for the rest of the shots. Solomon specifically requested taking photos in front of Book Haven, one of his favorite local book shops that he frequents with Delilah. My favorite shots are the ones with his drumsticks, to commemorate his time in a band!
You'd never guess from these shots that he was any bit nervous. Even though their were a bit of nerves, I think in the end Solomon had a nice time. I hope he looks back at these photos 20-30 years from now and thinks, "Mom, was right. These photos are awesome."

Thank you Caitlin Cannon Fagan for these beautiful pictures! We have been blessed beyond measures this year! Thank you for capturing Solomons reserved personality with some genuine smiles between.
