Faces: Johanna

I can't believe it has been ten whole years since I met this beautiful human being. As teenagers dancing away our summer at Broadway Dance Center, neither of us had any clue what adventures lie in store for us... roommates, late night tapping, filming a webseries, random photoshoots, many tap classes, she was a bridesmaid at my wedding and I photographed her's. I love Johanna so much and am grateful for her friendship and collaboration in my life, including our most recent shoot!

The last two years Jo has taken time off of performing to go back to school to fine tune her craft. And it's been an exciting year for her so far- she graduated in the spring and got married in the summer. With a NEW start to her career, a NEW name(!), and a fresh NEW hair cut, it was time for NEW headshots! I was thrilled to give her some updated shots to launch her into the next season of her life. So proud of Johanna and all of her exciting accomplishments. You can catch her this summer at The Charleston Performing Arts Center playing the title role in Sweet Charity (one she was born to play!) ​
