"A cousin is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost." -Marion C. Garretty I have the fortune of living near my two nieces that live here in Houston but my five other nieces and nephews live off in Arizona and I only get to see them about once a year. Recently the Arizona nieces and nephews came to town and getting some cousins portraits in was a must! It really amazes me how much I love these kids. In ten years, my family has added these seven vibrant, curious spirits to the world and I have the privilege of being their Aunt C. My passion for photography really started to grow when Avery (the oldest) was a baby. It was at this same spot, Bay Area Park, where I had my first photoshoot with her at around 6 months of age. It seemed only fitting to be shooting there again, a decade later, with all of her younger cousins, who have grown up in front of my lens like her. Even sweet Penelope at 15 months knows the drill for photo sessions! It really is a special thing watching all of these cuties interact and love on each other. Even though distance separates them, you can't deny their cousin bond runs strong.
