"Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen. " -Michael Jordan Another awesome Senior Portrait Session in the books!
I'm always very excited to meet brand new clients. What's crazy though is at the beginning of Jason's session we thought we didn't know each other and by the end of it we figured out that I know his sister, seen their Dad in some community theatre productions growing up, AND we have a million mutual friends! Such a small world... Jason was a joy to photograph. He was easy going, energetic, and up for anything! We started his session in front of his old middle school and then ventured to a nearby park on the water. It was especially fun getting to incorporate his love for basketball into the session- you know I love a good action shot or two! I was honored to photograph this bright young man and wish him the very best post graduation. So without further ado, here are Jason's Senior Portraits!

I. LOVE. SENIOR. SESSIONS.
Truly. I felt so blessed to have several super awesome Senior Sessions during my latest trip to Houston. The first of them was Andrew and let me tell you about him... I've known Andrew since he was itty bitty and I'd venture to say I was probably his first crush (sorry to make you blush, dude!) and he was the most adorable little boy. Then he and his family moved away for a long while and next thing I know I'm photographing his Senior Portraits and he's turned into a MAN!! Talk about crazy! But really, I couldn't be more proud of the kind and intelligent human being he's become. He was born in Galveston and spent the early part of his childhood there so it was only fitting to have our session there to make it feel full circle . Between Andrew's infectious energy, the beautiful scenery and weather we had, and the special relationship I have with their family, it was just an extra special shoot and I couldn't be more proud of the way our collaboration turned out! I wish Andrew all the very best as he transitions into adulthood and college. I know he's going to take the world by storm. I could go on and on about it all but I'm going to stop myself so that you can see it all for yourself! Holidays with my family are always wonderful. We take presentation of food and decor very seriously, but in the best kind of way. Attention to detail is one of the greatest things my mother has taught my sisters and me and I hope one day to pass that knowledge onto my children. Everything always looks beautiful and makes the day extra special! I love when my trips to Texas aligns with holidays. Here are a few pictures from my Easter this year (mainly consisting of toddlers and food!) Hope your Easter was a lovely one filled with eggs, candy, and loved ones!! This is Kaylee, Maddie's cousin on her daddy's side. That blonde hair in the sunlight was just too precious!
