"It's good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end." -Ernest Hemingway A few months back I met Adam when I photographed him and his friends, Varsity String Quartet. I was excited to photograph his Senior Portraits recently before he heads off to the University of Texas this Fall. I truly love senior sessions... one on one time, getting to know my client, and showcasing their unique self thru my artistic perspective. In the short time I've spent with Adam, he's shown me what a truly remarkable young man and I loved capturing this special moment in time. Wishing him the best as he journeys on to college! Hey 2020 graduates- it's never too early to schedule your Senior Session. I want to get you on my calendar! Click here.

I can't believe my little nephew is two! His mommy, Maggie, has been my best friend since childhood and I love watching her as she raises this cute little boy. After the success of last year's cake smash session, we decided to make this an annual tradition with this year's theme being Toy Story theme! Watching Coop play with his toys was so cute (especially his newly gifted Rex and Mr. Potato Head!) He has grown up so much this past year. I love his sweet spirit and see what the next year holds for him. Happy Birthday Cooper!!
At the send of Spring I had a great performance opportunity up in Fort Worth and was lucky enough to be hosted in Grapevine by Jenny and her husband. Jenny's list of talents and passions are endless, among which include being actress, voice teacher, and visual artist. Not to mention she is as kind and lovely as it gets! I was thrilled to sneak in a Headshot session with her during my stay and love the variety of shots we got. Jenny, thank you for welcoming me into your home, treating me like family, and entrusting me with giving you some fab new shots. Can't wait to see how they open up new, exciting opportunities for you! Till next time, my friend.
Max is not only an extremely talented ballet dancer, actor, and stand up comedian but also my best friend since childhood! We grew up dancing together and I've photographed many dance sessions with him throughout the years. He is currently a soloist with Carolina Ballet in Raleigh and during some of his recent time off in Houston we met up for a Headshot Session. Can't wait to see what opportunities open up for him as he uses these shots!
"Life takes you to unexpected places. Love brings you home." -Melissa McClone Cali's Senior Session was a gift from start to finish. In the planning stage when we were emailing back and forth she mentioned wanting to photograph at her local neighborhood park. She lives in an artsy neighborhood by the water and I was constantly inspired- behind every corner was of color, creativity, and light! I love that when she looks back at these images years from now she will not only see beautiful artistic images but they'll also transport back to all the special memories she made on the streets and on the shore she grew up on.
