I don't know how its possible but my niece, Maddie, just gets cuter by the second! I was so excited when my mom bought her this adorable dress from Torly Kid. I love that the Tribeca kid's clothing boutique also has an online storefront, making it so much easier to get their cute stylings all he way to my fam in TX.
One day during my visit to Houston in May, we to took advantage of Maddie's cute new dress and went out for some ice cream (or "iqueem" as Maddie would say!) She naturally picked the "pink" kind with sprinkles and went to town on it! Its amazing to see how much a kid will listen to you when you put sugar in their hands! So happy to have preserved this special little memory with one of my favorite little girls. Looking forward to meeting her baby sister by the end of this month!!

3 years ago today I married the most kind, loving, and wonderful man. Some of you may have met Josh during your sessions as he often comes along as my assistant. As CCP continues to branch out and photograph weddings, you will most likely see him as the second photographer. His talents and abilities never cease to amaze and impress me.
So just before our 1 year anniversary, my mom told me about this photo idea she had seen online. So the first year of your anniversary you pose with a photo from your wedding day. Then for every year after that you take a photo with the image you had made the previous year. Each year the photos get smaller and smaller! I resisted the idea at first but I remember her saying, "This will be so fun to look back on years from now." I'm so glad I trusted her because I know what she meant now. Our original wedding photo already looks so tiny, even at 3 years of marriage! Since our work schedules are both so crazy we took advantage of our day off yesterday to have a picnic in the park to celebrate. I feel like its so important to make family traditions. Now a days, dates and outings are harder to come by so its even more important to capture these moments to remember and treasure. And with our anniversary tradition, I know at least I will have one great photo of us every year! Holidays with my family are always wonderful. We take presentation of food and decor very seriously, but in the best kind of way. Attention to detail is one of the greatest things my mother has taught my sisters and me and I hope one day to pass that knowledge onto my children. Everything always looks beautiful and makes the day extra special! I love when my trips to Texas aligns with holidays. Here are a few pictures from my Easter this year (mainly consisting of toddlers and food!) Hope your Easter was a lovely one filled with eggs, candy, and loved ones!! This is Kaylee, Maddie's cousin on her daddy's side. That blonde hair in the sunlight was just too precious!
As I continue to grow my photography business here in the NYC area, I find that I'm take less and less photos of my day to day life. I focus so much on my clients that I tend to forget about documenting my own life. Well when my sister, Nikki, came to town, I busted out my camera to document her visit. When Nikki and I get together we become quite the foodies so a lot of the following photos will be of drool worthy food! Though she doesn't haven the biggest sweet tooth, Nikki loves donuts, so during her trip we made it a point to try to get in as many donut places as we could! Along with several other great food stops we visited the High Line which is a must for anyone in the city, visitor or resident. I love when family comes to town and I'm so glad I have all these photos to remember Nikki and I's 2015 NYC adventures. Pick up your camera and document your memories!
