At the start of the summer I had the great opportunity of performing in Casa Manana Theatre's production of The Producer's, under the brilliant direction of this gorgeous woman, Courtney Young. From Day 1 she was our fearless leader, her amazing talent only to be matched by incredible loving heart. One morning before rehearsal I was tickled pink to snag some one on one time with her for an Artistic Portrait Session. In true Courtney fashion she had a clear vision for the shoot- she wanted a bright yellow wall to create a warm, inviting feel. We had so much fun exploring a fun block in Downtown Fort Worth and I was honored to capture her essence and spirit. Whether its on stage or behind the camera, I love working with Courtney! Till next time :)

"Its the moments together that change us forever." -unknown Getting the WHOLE family together for a family portrait session can often be a bit crazy- making everyone's schedules match up and coordinating outfits is complicated to start. And then when the day and everyone is finally all together. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings... A bit crazy? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely. I photographed Stephanie and her little family last year and was so pleased when she gifted a session to her mom OVER Christmas. They hadn't had professional photos taken as a family since Stephanie and her brothers were little. I loved capturing everyone all together in front of my camera and am honored knowing that these images will be family treasures for generations to come!
"It's good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end." -Ernest Hemingway A few months back I met Adam when I photographed him and his friends, Varsity String Quartet. I was excited to photograph his Senior Portraits recently before he heads off to the University of Texas this Fall. I truly love senior sessions... one on one time, getting to know my client, and showcasing their unique self thru my artistic perspective. In the short time I've spent with Adam, he's shown me what a truly remarkable young man and I loved capturing this special moment in time. Wishing him the best as he journeys on to college! Hey 2020 graduates- it's never too early to schedule your Senior Session. I want to get you on my calendar! Click here.
I can't believe my little nephew is two! His mommy, Maggie, has been my best friend since childhood and I love watching her as she raises this cute little boy. After the success of last year's cake smash session, we decided to make this an annual tradition with this year's theme being Toy Story theme! Watching Coop play with his toys was so cute (especially his newly gifted Rex and Mr. Potato Head!) He has grown up so much this past year. I love his sweet spirit and see what the next year holds for him. Happy Birthday Cooper!!
At the send of Spring I had a great performance opportunity up in Fort Worth and was lucky enough to be hosted in Grapevine by Jenny and her husband. Jenny's list of talents and passions are endless, among which include being actress, voice teacher, and visual artist. Not to mention she is as kind and lovely as it gets! I was thrilled to sneak in a Headshot session with her during my stay and love the variety of shots we got. Jenny, thank you for welcoming me into your home, treating me like family, and entrusting me with giving you some fab new shots. Can't wait to see how they open up new, exciting opportunities for you! Till next time, my friend.
