"There are two ways of spreading light; to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." -Edith Wharton Meeting this fantastic couple was truly serendipitous. Rob and Kim moved to Jersey three years ago on the exact same week as myself and my husband. I met them on my first Sunday at church and almost instantly knew we'd all be good friends. Kim has become one of my closest friends and Rob and my husband, Josh, are like two peas in a pod. They really are some of the best people I know. My latest mini session with them was absolutely wonderful... Rob starts at NYU in the fall for his Master Degree and I was more than happy to snap some Business Headshots for him. He's one smart cookie and I hope these portraits serve him well in all of his future professional endeavors.
After we finished Rob's solo shots, Kim jumped into frame and we had a blast photographing the two of them together. One of the best parts of living on the Jersey side of the Hudson is the spectacular views of NYC's skyline. I'll never tire of using it as a background for my portrait sessions. We also found the cutest little red and white striped light house which added an extra dose of charm to their session. Kim's skirt has me feeling all the spring feelings and Rob looked dapper in his suit. Overall, a beautiful session with beautiful people!
