On December 8th, 2017 all of Houston woke up to the biggest surprise: SNOW! Now for those of you confused as to why Texans make such a big deal, you have to know- this only happens once a decade. It was so magical to wake up to our homes and neighbors covered in a thin layer of snow. Luckily for me, that morning I was scheduled to be at UHCL to photograph Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre's Nutcracker school performances. A ballet photoshoot in the snow was in order! Tara joined me out in the snow first since she wasn't in the first show and later Audrey & Rachel took some photos during intermission. Love these beautiful girls, they kept telling me they were warm but couldn't feel their toes! Oh the things we do for photos! Grateful for dance, snow, and the magic of the season!
