Lindsy and I were classmates and cast members of many children theatre productions. In our adult life it has been wonderful to reconnect and become friends once again. Early December, Lindsy reached out to me about booking a headshot session. With a few reschedules thanks to the crazy weather we've had recenetly (seriously, what's up with this cold Houston winter?) we finally got together early January for her session, my first of 2018! Lindsy photographed beautifully. Her curly brown hair is just gorgeous and her eyes glistened. I am so lucky to have clients who are as beautiful on the outside as they are the inside. Wishing her the best as she uses these images to expand and grow in her professional endeavors.

Sophie is one of my lovely students at Feijoo Ballet School. After her mom saw my photography work for Black Box on Broadway this past Fall she approached me about taking portraits of sweet Sophie. The photos would be used for their annual Christmas card as well as in promotion for their family business, Gay Family Auto in Dickinson. Photograph an adorable child AND have my photos on a billboard? Sounds great to me!
"Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He's gotta pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there's not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see." -It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Taking my two nieces recently to the pumpkin patch was quite a fun way to celebrate the fall season. We went to the same little patch I would visit when I was a little kid and I loved returning their once again with them. We decided to make a little photoshoot out of it since Grandma had bought them the cutest pumpkin dresses!
"Together Is A Wonderful Place To Be." -unknown I first met Lorna and Nelson in 2007 when they guest performed with BAHBT. I'll never forget the huge impression they made on me. Not only were they world renowned international ballet rock stars but they were incredible kind and gracious human beings. As fate would have it, several years later they retired from Boston Ballet and decided to move to Houston! Nelson is currently at the helm of BAHBT, serving as its Artistic Director and Lorna opened up Feijoo Ballet School last year in Dickinson (where I just started teaching Tap and Theatre Dance!) They are the definition of loveliness and I was honored when they asked if I would capture their beautiful family through my lens.
