"We must love one another and see in one another the beauty of the soul."

Janetta and I have been talking about her family portraits forever so it was so fun to finally make it happen! I have the opportunity to go to church with this awesome family and I've always had a soft spot for them. Their family is filled with so much love and joy and it was a pleasure capturing forever photo memories for them!

With 4 of the 5 kids grown up and out of the house, it's hard to get everyone together let alone find time for family pics. So when Donna saw an opportunity to have everyone go down to Galveston for a beach weekend getaway, she kindly invited me along to capture the fun!

It feels like just yesterday I photographed Christine & Nick's Engagement Portraits and now they're having a baby!! They wanted to keep things fun and casual for their Maternity Portraits so we ventured to Frobergs Farm in Alvin for a bit of strawberry picking fun.

Getting the WHOLE family together for a family portrait session can often be a bit crazy- making everyone's schedules match up and coordinating outfits is complicated to start. And then when the day and everyone is finally all together. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings... A bit crazy? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely. I photographed Stephanie and her little family last year and was so pleased when she gifted a session to her mom OVER Christmas. They hadn't had professional photos taken as a family since Stephanie and her brothers were little. I loved capturing everyone all together in front of my camera and am honored knowing that these images will be family treasures for generations to come!

brief moment we get memories that last a life time..." -Unknown
Growing up at my dance studio I had the pleasure of knowing Tim. He was always so sweet and was a good friend to me. We've kept in touch over the years via Facebook and recently he reached out on behalf of his dear mama expressing interest in a family portrait session. All family sessions are special, but this one tugged at my heart; it was the first time they had the WHOLE family together including all siblings, spouses, and brand babies! I could feel the joy and excitement this family has as they celebrated they union and getting to seal the special event through photos.
