"Its the moments together that change us forever." -unknown
Getting the WHOLE family together for a family portrait session can often be a bit crazy- making everyone's schedules match up and coordinating outfits is complicated to start. And then when the day and everyone is finally all together. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings... A bit crazy? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely. I photographed Stephanie and her little family last year and was so pleased when she gifted a session to her mom OVER Christmas. They hadn't had professional photos taken as a family since Stephanie and her brothers were little. I loved capturing everyone all together in front of my camera and am honored knowing that these images will be family treasures for generations to come!

Growing up at my dance studio I had the pleasure of knowing Tim. He was always so sweet and was a good friend to me. We've kept in touch over the years via Facebook and recently he reached out on behalf of his dear mama expressing interest in a family portrait session. All family sessions are special, but this one tugged at my heart; it was the first time they had the WHOLE family together including all siblings, spouses, and brand babies! I could feel the joy and excitement this family has as they celebrated they union and getting to seal the special event through photos.

So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun."
When I asked Alyssa's mom if she had any specific wants for this prom portrait session she said, "Just have fun and be creative!" And that is exactly what we did! It was a solid fun filled hour of posing, squad goals, skirt swooshing and living our best Vanity Fair dream shoot lives. I loved seeing both guys and gals show off their individual styles in suits and gowns. Having never attended prom myself, it was thrilling to share in their excitement. It's so special to think about how these will be photos that they will revisit years and years from now as they reminisce on their high school experience. Hope y'all had a wonderful Senior Prom, thanks for having me along!

Sometimes I just pinch myself- I love what I do! My clients are always so creative and fun. No matter if their photography needs are personal or professional, I love meeting my clients ideas with my vision. My most recent session brought me to the New Jersey shore photographing Michael and Marisa in their home studio!
Michael is the Owner/Creative Director at Asano Designs and Marisa is a Health and Wellness Coach and both were looking for shots of them working in their creative space. They were so wonderful opening their beautiful home to me- their home studio flooded in natural light, color, and creativity! I felt like we instantly clicked and had a total blast as I photographed shots for their businesses. I'm looking forward to their next session this spring including their three adorable children for family portraits!

It always so special when I get a client ask me to photograph them and i'm honored when they return year after year. After photographing their family last year I was thrilled to be back behind my lens for Evelyn and Bill again, this time for some headshots and couple portraits.
Bill’s first wife, Margie, succumbed to breast cancer after a valiant 13 year battle. Evelyn suddenly and tragically was widowed when her first husband Rick, the commander of STS-107, Space Shuttle Columbia. They were brought together through their loss and faith. Now married 11 years, they travel the world together sharing their message of hope, love, and faith. I was honored to capture their love story as well as provide them so portraits that they can use at all of the public speaking events. What a truly inspiring couple!
