"Its the moments together that change us forever." -unknown
Getting the WHOLE family together for a family portrait session can often be a bit crazy- making everyone's schedules match up and coordinating outfits is complicated to start. And then when the day and everyone is finally all together. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings... A bit crazy? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely. I photographed Stephanie and her little family last year and was so pleased when she gifted a session to her mom OVER Christmas. They hadn't had professional photos taken as a family since Stephanie and her brothers were little. I loved capturing everyone all together in front of my camera and am honored knowing that these images will be family treasures for generations to come!
I can't believe my little nephew is two! His mommy, Maggie, has been my best friend since childhood and I love watching her as she raises this cute little boy. After the success of last year's cake smash session, we decided to make this an annual tradition with this year's theme being Toy Story theme! Watching Coop play with his toys was so cute (especially his newly gifted Rex and Mr. Potato Head!) He has grown up so much this past year. I love his sweet spirit and see what the next year holds for him. Happy Birthday Cooper!!

Growing up at my dance studio I had the pleasure of knowing Tim. He was always so sweet and was a good friend to me. We've kept in touch over the years via Facebook and recently he reached out on behalf of his dear mama expressing interest in a family portrait session. All family sessions are special, but this one tugged at my heart; it was the first time they had the WHOLE family together including all siblings, spouses, and brand babies! I could feel the joy and excitement this family has as they celebrated they union and getting to seal the special event through photos.

Where do I begin about this awesome family? I fell in love with Scott last year photographing his headshots and I loved that mom and sister joined in for the fun this time around. They were interested in getting individual "personality" shots to use for modeling, audition headshots, and social media. The kids were absolutely adorable, making my job so easy and I loved that Becca donned her favorite fur coat and flowing skirt for her shots- isn't she gorgeous?! We enjoyed the beautiful weather and atmosphere at Bay Area Park for their session. Looking forward to the next one with this beautiful family!
My oldest sister lives in Arizona with her husband and their five beautiful children. When they were visiting over the holidays I took each of my nieces out for a mini portrait session!
First up was my oldest niece, Avery. Avery is 11 years old and is about to pass me up, which will make her the tallest woman in the family! Not only does she look older but is acting so mature and grown up. Avery and I share a love for musical theatre and I am loving see her passion and skill grow (even had a private tap lesson during her stay!)
Avery, don't grow up too fast. xoxo, Aunt C!
